The Queen’s Commonwealth Writing Competition 2026 is now officially closed! A heartfelt thank you to all our entrants, and to the teachers and youth leaders who inspired young people in their networks to get involved!

This year is a particularly exciting year to get involved, with the rebrand fo the competition marking an important evolution in its history, and a move to establish a more inclusive, regional approach while continuing to champion the power of young voices across the Commonwealth.
