REPORTS

Our unique position within the Commonwealth family allows us to play a pivotal role in convening and connecting the Commonwealth’s political and diplomatic representatives, as well as industry, civil society, academic and business leaders, on a wide range of issues. Through youth empowerment, education and high-level advocacy, we champion the importance of literacy, equality and inclusion, the environment and connected communities across the Commonwealth’s 54 member nations.

Youth Advocacy - Learning and Reflection Toolkit (2022)

This toolkit aims to guide future youth-led advocacy campaigns. It provides an overview of youth advocacy in the Commonwealth context. Past campaigns are used to illustrate notable strategies. The flagship campaign of the Commonwealth Youth Gender and Equality Network, #Reform53, is presented as a case study. Tips for youth-led advocacy campaigns are provided for young people, adult allies and organisational partners.
