THE QUEEN'S COMMONWEALTH ESSAY COMPETITION

The Queen's Commonwealth Essay Competition 2025 is now closed!

A massive thank you to all those young people across the Commonwealth who took the time to share their views on the relevance of journeys in a Commonwealth context, whether geographical, historical or personal. What journeys the Commonwealth has taken or may take in the future, as well as to reflect on their own individual journeys. A further huge thank you to all those who gave their time to promote the competition or guided their students to submit an entry!

Judging will be underway shortly, and we look forward to reading your entries!

Results will be announced in the later part of 2025. For up-to-date announcements make sure to follow us on our social media accounts (@RoyalCWSociety).

If you have a question related to your entry, please send an email to competitions@royalcwsociety.org with the relevant details (e.g. name, unique reference number starting with QCEC2025 -). Please note that due to the level of queries it may take the team a few days to respond. We are also unable to make any adjustments to the content of essays at this point.

Thank you once again to all those involved in the process and a good luck to all our entrants!
