The Acting Chief Director of the Ministry of Lands and Natural Resources, Professor Partrick Agbesinyale, on behalf of the Minister, committed Ghana to the QCC, nominating the Cape Three Points Forest Reserve as its dedication.

The protected reserve is located in the Ahanta West District in the Western Region of Ghana and is designated as one of Ghana’s 30 Globally Significant Biodiversity Areas.

It is the only surviving remnant evergreen forest vegetation in the area.
